Assigning users to a ShoreTel IP 480 Phone
Assign or Reassign ShoreTel IP 480 VOIP phones

Unassign a phone
- Make sure there are no active calls on the phone being unassigned
- Press the Unassign button
- Press Unassign again on the confirmation window that pops up
- The phone will start to unassign the current user
- If the unassign process was successful, the phone will now show the user as Anonymous
Assign a phone
- Make sure there are no active calls on the phone being assigned
- Click Assign
- Enter the users extension and voicemail password into the box that appears. Once finished click Next
- If the information entered is correct the phone will assign the user. You will see this screen for a few seconds before the phone is updated with the users information
